Inter Alia recently profiled a couple of Ohio legal blogs that may be of interest.  One is Ohio Practical Business Lawyer, which offers "practical guidance for making legally informed business decisions."  It's published by Teri Rasmussen, an attorney at the Columbus firm of Lane, Alton, and Horst.  If you're interested in environmental law, you may want to check out the Ohio Environmental Law Blog, published by attorney Joe Koncelik of the Cleveland firm Frantz Ward.

If you notice the doors closed near the circulation desk or at the entrances to the north and south sides of the library, don't worry--we haven't closed early!  We are experimenting with keeping these doors closed to cut down on noise within the library.  If you have feedback on this while we try it out, please let a member of the library staff know, or you can fill out a comment card and put it in our suggestion box, which is located in the hallway near the circulation desk.

Thank you!

Hanson Reading Room Construction

Over the summer, the Taggart Law Library reading room was renovated to become the new Hanson Reading Room. Starting the day after graduation, ONU Physical Plant and Law Library staff worked together to prepare the room for the contractors, Thomas & Marker Construction. You can go to this page to see weekly pictures of the construction progress from start to finish.

This project has resulted in a larger reading room space, two soft-seating discussion areas, two special-use alcoves, new library office areas, and additional study rooms. For more information on the Hanson Project, visit this page on the law school's website.
